Little drawings from my day, turned into clip arts you can also paste into your own journal (drag the image to goodnotes). I wanted to draw each day as a way of paying attention and staying present, to make sense of ordinary moments, and to leave a small record of it.

03/31/25 | Butterfly | I saw this little butterfly 2 days ago on my pillow. Today I saw it again on my window and its dead and there’s a spider dragging it. I felt protective of the butterfly and scared the spider away. The butterfly is already dead so I don’t know what to do. I just put her in the small pot where my mini cactus is planted.03/25/26 | Slippers | Today I saw our puppy – Lana wearing a slipper on her neck. The funniest thing I saw today.03/22/25 | Avenids | I dreamt of a fish called Avenids. There’s a basket filled with these small fishes. They are like small piranhas and are punished because they change mates every minute. lol. I wonder how my mind can up with that name and lore. lol. I searched if there are fishes called Avenids but found none.03/15/26 | Dried Leaves | I’ve searched and its called frond… I saw this on a tree and it made my laugh seeing a different tree’s dried leaf on another tree. I don’t know why.03/14/26 | Hulyo | I watched old Filipino films for inspiration about a book I’m writing. I watched – Maynila sa kuko ng liwanag and the main character there is Hulyo03/13/26 | Star | After work, I went outside and sat on our stairs. I was peting the dogs and cat. When I looked up I saw a star winking at me. Its red and white.03/11/26 | Sock | I have alot of sock. I paired all of them but there’s just one that doesn’t have a pair. I wonder where the other one went.03/10/26 | My Eye | I just noticed my eyes were red. I need to stop staying up late.03/07/26 | Screw | I assembled a new cabinet today. It was hard but I did it on my own.03/05/26 | Cute cloud | Saw this cloud earlier. Its alone (but not lonely). Its cute.03/04/05 | Green hat | I just realized that I don’t like the color green but somehow, all my favorite things are green.03/03/26 | Richee | I’ve been craving this for a while and now that I’m eating this, it doesn’t taste as good as I expected. I think its because I don’t have appetite lately.03/02/26 | Balayong Tree | I planted this tree during the pandemic in hopes to see it bloom but it still hasn’t. I was taller than it back then but now its almost 3 times taller than me and sturdy. Earlier I did shinrin-yoku. I didin’t feel any difference after, maybe I should have done it barefoot.
