Coco Crunch Cookie
Yesterday I wanted to make a chocolate cookie but ended up making this by accident. I was short in butter so I just added margarine. In the end the cookie tasted like a hybrid between cookie and candy and cereal which I don’t really mind..
If you want a crunchy chocolate cookie that tastes like coco crunch, you shoukd definitely try making this!

Ingredients
70 g Butter
2 tbsp Margarine
7 tbsp White sugar
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 Whole egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Cocoa powder
1 cup All-purpose flour
Instructions
- Cream butter, margarine, white sugar and brown sugar. (I like to cube the butter first so it mixes well)
- Add egg and vanilla.
- Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt separately.
- Combine until just incorporated.
- Chill 30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C.
- Scoop the dough into equal-sized balls.
- Line the air fryer basket with baking paper and arrange the cookie dough balls, leaving enough space between them to spread. Cover them with a DIY foil tent or metal plate (shaped to fit your air fryer)
- Air fry at 180°C for 6 minutes.
- Carefully remove the foil cover, then continue cooking at 160°C for 2 minutes.
- Flip the cookie then cook at 160°C for 2 minutes. (let the cookie cool first before flipping so it doesn’t stick)
